MULTI IR Diamond-Like Carbon Coating (DLC Coating for short) is a high-performance functional optical coating product launched. It combines the high hardness and wear resistance of diamond with the excellent light transmission performance of optical materials. Its core function is to form a dense and uniform protective film on the surface of infrared optical components without affecting the transmission efficiency of infrared light, achieving the dual effects of "protection + light transmission".
This product is prepared by advanced plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) or magnetron sputtering technology, with a film hardness of HV1500-4000, featuring excellent wear resistance, scratch resistance and corrosion resistance. At the same time, it is optimized for the infrared band, maintaining high transmittance in a wide infrared band such as 0.85-16μm, and controlling reflection loss at an extremely low level. As a high-end optical coating solution, DLC coating is widely used in infrared optical components requiring high protection performance, such as infrared lenses, infrared filters, infrared windows, and optical sensor probes. In industrial environments, it can effectively protect the surface of optical components from dust, friction, and chemical medium erosion, extending product service life; in outdoor application scenarios (such as security monitoring and environmental monitoring equipment), it can resist wear and corrosion from harsh environments such as gravel, sand dust, and chemicals, ensuring long-term stability of optical performance; in precision optical instruments, it can reduce micro-defects on the component surface and improve the imaging quality and detection accuracy of the optical system. MULTI IR DLC Coating supports customization services, which can adjust indicators such as film thickness, hardness, and optical parameters according to customer needs such as the substrate type, size (circular and square wafers, lenses, aspherical lenses, etc. of 1-300mm can be customized), working band, and protection requirements of optical components. It is compatible with various substrates such as germanium, silicon, sapphire, zinc sulfide, chalcogenide glass, and zinc selenide, and is suitable for multiple fields such as industry, military industry, aerospace, and consumer electronics, providing an integrated coating solution with both high-performance protection and high-quality optical characteristics for infrared optical products.
