The 2.5G Filter is a core Optical Communication Filter developed by MULTI IR for 2.5Gbps transmission rate scenarios in the optical communication field. Manufactured based on high-precision dielectric thin film interference technology, it integrates three core advantages: low insertion loss, high isolation, and high transmittance. This product adopts the Ion Beam Sputtering process to deposit multiple layers of optical thin films, which can accurately filter common optical communication window wavelengths such as 1310nm/1550nm. With insertion loss ≤ 0.3dB and isolation ≥ 35dB, it can effectively block ambient stray light and crosstalk between adjacent channels, ensuring the integrity and stability of optical signals at 2.5Gbps rate. As a typical representative of High Transmittance Filter, its transmittance reaches more than 95% within the target wavelength range. At the same time, it has industrial-grade temperature resistance characteristics of -40℃~85℃, which can adapt to the long-term operation of complex environments such as outdoor base stations and computer rooms. It is compatible with mainstream low-rate optical modules such as SFP and GBIC, supports mass production and has controllable costs, and is a core passive optical component in optical communication access networks and small and medium-sized data centers.
