The 5G Filter is an Optical Communication Filter specially designed by MULTI IR for 5Gbps medium-speed optical transmission systems, focusing on the core needs of "anti-interference, high stability, and medium-sized scenario adaptation". The product adopts a multi-layer dielectric thin film structure, and realizes high-selectivity filtering of target wavelengths by precisely controlling the film thickness and material ratio. The insertion loss is ≤ 0.25dB and the Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL) is ≤ 0.1dB, which can effectively reduce the risk of signal attenuation and distortion at 5Gbps rate. As a key component adapting to medium-speed scenarios, it supports full-band coverage of C-band (1530-1565nm) and L-band (1565-1625nm), is compatible with medium-rate optical modules such as SFP+ and XFP, and has passed rigorous tests such as high and low temperature cycles and damp heat aging. The performance fluctuation is ≤ 1% in the environment of -40℃~85℃, meeting the requirements of industrial-grade reliability. At the same time, the product adopts a miniaturized packaging design (minimum support 1.6×1.6mm) to adapt to the high-density installation needs of equipment. Combined with MULTI IR's mature OEM customization capability (OEM Optical Filters), the wavelength tolerance (±0.3nm~±0.5nm) can be adjusted according to customer needs, providing a cost-effective optical transmission solution for metropolitan area networks and medium-sized data centers.
