DWDM Filter (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing Filter) is a high-end Optical Communication Filter developed by MULTI IR for ultra-large capacity and high-speed optical communication scenarios. Its core function is to realize precise filtering and isolation of high-density wavelength channels, supporting the transmission of dozens to hundreds of optical signals over a single optical fiber, and maximizing the optical fiber transmission capacity. This product adopts advanced high-precision dielectric thin film design and ion beam sputtering process, which can realize wavelength filtering with extremely small channel spacing (100GHz/50GHz/25GHz). The target wavelength transmittance is ≥ 98.5%, insertion loss ≤ 0.2dB, and isolation ≥ 45dB, which can effectively suppress crosstalk between high-density channels and ensure the integrity of high-speed signal transmission. The product supports full-band coverage of C-band (1530-1565nm) and L-band (1565-1625nm), the wavelength tolerance is controlled within ±0.05nm, compatible with 10G/25G/100G and other high-speed optical modules, and has excellent environmental stability. The wavelength drift is ≤ 0.01nm/℃ in the temperature range of -40℃~85℃, and the performance attenuation is ≤ 3% after 10000-hour long-term operation test. Combined with MULTI IR's customization service (MULTI IR Filter Customization), the channel spacing, wavelength range and packaging size can be customized according to customer needs, complying with RoHS environmental standards, providing an ultra-large capacity and high-reliability optical transmission solution for core communication networks.

    Application Field

This product is mainly applied to national and even transnational communication backbone networks. As a core component of long-distance transmission links, it supports ultra-large capacity data interaction between provinces, cities and countries, and is a key component for the core layer transmission of 5G/6G networks; in ultra-large data centers, it is compatible with high-density optical interconnection links in the core switching layer, meeting the ultra-large bandwidth and low-latency transmission needs such as artificial intelligence training, ultra-high-definition video rendering, and cloud computing big data processing; at the same time, it is suitable for core private communication networks in key industries such as finance, energy and government affairs, ensuring the safe, high-speed and stable transmission of high-frequency transaction data, energy scheduling instructions and government core data; in addition, in submarine optical cable communication systems, it can improve transmission capacity through high-density wavelength division multiplexing, supporting transoceanic communication services, and is a high-end core component in "core layer-backbone layer" ultra-large capacity optical communication scenarios.
